Re: ProxSMTP on more than 1 port
Hi Kare, Thanks for the files. Unfortunately the cgi page is generating a internal server error when I select CopFilter > SMTP Filter from the menu. Also ProxSMTP is not scanning either port anymore. So I have restored both files & for now is working on port 25. I first tried with 2.0.91beta3 & when...

Re: ClamAV 0.98.1 - Copfilter V1
Hi, I support 2 IPCop machines that are still on 1.4.21 with CopFilter 0.85.2 Can I install the ClamAV 0.98.1 or do I need to update Copfilter first. Yes I have been lazy on these 2 machines, Have been waiting for 2.1.x before updateing. Pity the squid proxy is so unstable. :( EDIT: So lazy I still ...

Re: ProxSMTP on more than 1 port
Thank you Kare.
I know how busy you are these days.
I really appreciate it.
If someone is happy to explain, though, I would be glad to know how to do this for myself.
Regards.

Re: ProxSMTP on more than 1 port
Hi again Shelby, I'm a little lost. I get the following when I run "iptables -t nat -L" I'll only show what I think is relevant. Chain PREROUTING (policy ACCEPT) target prot opt source destination CUSTOMPREROUTING all -- anywhere anywhere NTP all -- anywhere anywhere SQUID all -- anywhere anywhere P...

Re: ProxSMTP on more than 1 port
Hi Shelby, Thanks for the reply & sorry for the delay getting back. I tried running this but it doesn't seem to allow ProxSMTP to scan both ports 25 & 587. The GUI entry only shows port 25 & tests confirm that it's only scanning port 25 when sending mail. IE No ProxSMTP disclaimer on emails sent usi...

ProxSMTP on more than 1 port
Hi guys, Sorry if this has been asked before. We have 5 family members using different email hosts, some send on port 25 & some on 587. So is it possible to set ProxSMTP to scan on more than 1 internal port? I was thinking something like 25; 587 as the setting. But using this stops SMTP scanning any...

Re: Coming soon, new version 2.1.92beta2 for IPCOP 2.1.1
Hi Shelby, I planned to uninstall Copfilter before I upgraded to 2.1.1 from 2.0.6 Sounds I should remove all mods to avoid problems or better yet backup & start from the beginning. I would prefer to use F-Prot as a second Virus scanner. Can I install F-prot the same way as before i-cap was included ...

Re: Coming soon, new version 2.1.92beta2 for IPCOP 2.1.1
Thanks guys an amazing effort, greatly appreciated.
Two questions,
1/ I take it I should remove old CopFilter before upgrading IPCop then install the new version?
2/ Can F-prot be installed with the new version running i-cap?
Regards

Re: Modify C-ICAP Filterng to work on GREY Interfaces
Hi Shelby. Thanks for the reply. Yes Grey works without CopFilter. I had to create an Outgoing FireWall rule to allow Grey Traffic. Then added "http_port 192.168.203.1:8080 transparent" to "/var/ipcop/proxy/acls/include.acl" and restarted IPCop. Then created new Outgoing rule to deny port 80 traffic...

Modify C-ICAP Filterng to work on GREY Interfaces
Hi all, I have been banging my head on the screen with this one for about 2 weeks now. I found a similar post http://www.copfilter.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=879 but it's a little old now & not resolved so started a new one. System Details: Intel P4 System Board with Built in Intel NIC on RED, 2 ...
