bei mir leider nicht :?
bekomme beim Start Fehlermeldungen vom Squid und er startet nicht von alleine

Code: Select all

Client: Error: Cannot connect to (green IP vom Copfilter:3128) Connection refused
2014/11/11 10:24:04| ACL not found: ADRSRC
Fatal: Bungled /etc/squid/squid.conf line 116: adaption_access
can deny ADRSC
nach einmaligem klick auf Speichern beim Web-Proxy läuft es dann aber.
Habe IPCop und Copfilter neu und Addon Friendly installiert.

Hi Frank,

it happens sometimes with Squid, but didn't find why

A solution is to force Monit to monitor Squid and restart it if Squid stops. So, Squid will start as other components of Copfilter (it will be the last to start).
I planned to offer this ability in next version of my admin-mod.

For now:
- modify /var/log/copfilter/default/opt/monit/etc/monit.rc and replace at the end of the file:

Code: Select all

# COPFILTER START - squid
#XX# check process squid with pidfile /var/run/squid.pid
#XX# start program = "/usr/local/bin/restartsquid"
#XX# stop program = "/usr/sbin/squid -k kill"
#XX# if 5 restarts within 5 cycles then timeout
#XX# if cpu usage > 99% for 5 cycles then alert
#XX# if mem usage > 99% for 5 cycles then alert
# COPFILTER STOP - squid
with

Code: Select all

# COPFILTER START - squid
check process squid with pidfile /var/run/squid.pid
    start program = "/usr/local/bin/restartsquid"
    stop program = "/usr/sbin/squid -k kill"
if 5 restarts within 5 cycles then timeout
#XX# if cpu usage > 99% for 5 cycles then alert
#XX# if mem usage > 99% for 5 cycles then alert
# COPFILTER STOP - squid
Then enable and start Monit.

If as me you want not receive many mails from Monit , comment with "#" at the beginning of the file:
# set mail-format
# set alert
# set mailserver
# with timeout 45 seconds

Enjoy! :D

OK...that was easy

Code: Select all

Does not exist Service squid

      Date: Tue, 11 Nov 2014 11:43:37
      Action: restart
      Host: ipcop.local
      Description: process is not running

Hi frank,

Glad to hear! :D

I just release a pre-version of copfilter-admin mod 0.2.3
This version adds the ability for Copfilter V2 to monitor Squid (and AVG if installed with virus-scanner mod) and to choose to send (or not) mail after action by Monit.

I hope german translation is right! :D
it can be downloaded on Copfilter developpment section of the forum : viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1148#p5783

Hi,

What in the Monit log ?
If there is nothing, have a try with deleting /var/log/copfilter/default/opt/clamav/var/run/clamd.pid file and then restart Clamav and monit.

Regards.

The Admin Mod works great thank you
