@severus I want to save your time!
MySQL is not possible on IPCop (and no need, this time)
There are missing the binaries and libraries for a working MySQL.
But there is sqlite3 implemented by copfilter, which could be used for imspector, but I have to search on copfilter for correct path and the executable command to use it.
regards
IMSpector

thanks! I thought so. That was why I would do some research.karesmakro wrote:MySQL is not possible on IPCop (and no need, this time)

Will look for sqlite, too, if I can spent some time.

Hi Serverus,
Thanks for all your info and support. Much appreciated. I do have another question if its ok with you...
Is it possible to block IPs during time periods to whole internet NOT just the proxy but all ports ?
For example...
Kids Computer 192.168.1.10 all outbound blocked between 10pm and 7am ?
Thanks

Re: IMSpector
Hi,
with Advanced Proxy for IPCop http://www.advproxy.net/download.html it would be possible to create time restrictions for several ipaddresses. But it's not possible to block all ports and I do not know any addon, which can do this job!
Is your Imspector now running and did you tried to run the newest Imspector? It would be nice to know if the icq bug is now solved?

Hi all,
Interesting read.
Just so you know in case it motivates I & at least 2 of my friends that I support IPC for would be interested in a more developed & user friendly IMspector version for copfilter.
I am going to try out the above on mine to see how well it works in it's current form.
Also I take it that the URLFilter time restriction feature mentioned is using the squid acl access rules?
If so can someone point me to a decent (English
) tutoral or how to as I'm interested in applying this type of thing using user local authentication & group membership.
Again keep up the good work it's appreciated.
