Following on my previous post, here are the various status pages (for ipcop and copfilter), after rebooting the system after installing the changes mentioned in my previous post:

It seems that all memory is being used, but the swap file is empty.

And here is the status of copfilter:

I guess you should kep this deactivated. Snort indeed does nothing! It's an IDS, means an Intrusion Detection System, not an Intrusion Prevention System! It logs possible Intrusions but really does nothing.

In the other cases I won't anticipate Karesmakro.
