IMspector webgui

Post by user3k » 20 Feb 2011 19:08

A gui to control some basic functions, the ones that are in the config of IMspector will be good. But what i really miss is a way to retrieve and look the logs, like the one in smoothwall (http://www.imspector.org/wordpress/wp-c ... xpress.png), and a way to consult and send logs to some email.

Hi userk3 and welcome to copfilter forum! :)

O.k., I think this should be possible and it makes sense to choose protocols, block files, block webcams, and a text area and perhaps to manage badwords and conversation logs on gui.
This will take some time

regards

Imspector log viewer + imspector settings for the copfilter gui is ready ;)
and will be integrated in next beta6 release

Edit  newest pictures are avaliable on screenshots (perhaps the button should be a little smaller ...)

The button can be a little smaller but i think they're ok.

Kamesmakro, is possible to to have message injection integrated? This function use Sqlite. http://www.imspector.org/wordpress/?page_id=93

I know you are developing for ipcop 2, but can be adapted for ipcop 1.4? The only thing i miss at the moment for ipcop 2 is urlfilter.

This should be possible:

Code: Select all

Mar 21 22:04:38 ipcopII-dev imspector: Creating certs on demand into: /var/log/copfilter/default/opt/imspector/etc/keys
Mar 21 22:04:38 ipcopII-dev imspector: Protocol Plugin name: ICQ-AIM IMSpector protocol plugin
Mar 21 22:04:38 ipcopII-dev imspector: Protocol Plugin name: Yahoo IMSpector protocol plugin
Mar 21 22:04:38 ipcopII-dev imspector: Filter Plugin name: Misc IMSpector filter plugin
Mar 21 22:04:38 ipcopII-dev imspector: DB: Notice every 7 days; Filtered every 15 mins
Mar 21 22:04:38 ipcopII-dev imspector: Responder Plugin name: DB responder plugin
Mar 21 22:04:38 ipcopII-dev imspector: Logging Plugin name: File IMSpector logging plugin
Mar 21 22:04:38 ipcopII-dev imspector: Logging Plugin name: SQLite IMSpector logging plugin
but as I remember right, no realtime log viewer will be avaliable, if logs goes to sqlite database!
I have to make a few tests ...

I'm (or we)also continuing the development of copfilter v1 and I plan, to integrate improvements and some new features, used in v2!
If all addons are running stable on v2, v1 will be updated!

Thanks Kamesmakro.
Sadly one needs to have sqlite to be able to use message injection! I think this function is important, like in a company, you need to warn not only your employers that you're recording the session, but the ones they're talking! If is not possible to have real log viewer, maybe a way to extract the logs, exporting to some file maybe? That should do the trick.

An extended possibility, to control some more settings in imspector has been realized, already!
Please check this webinterface: http://www.it-connect-unix.de/images/bi ... closed.png
I want to add the possibility for message injection next time, too!

Another ideas or proposals?

Regards, Kare
