File location for quarantine attachments

Postby moshari_3 » 06 Oct 2016 11:43

Hi Guys,
Longtime between posts, I trust everyone is well.

But to the point.
Can someone please advise where an file attached to an incoming email that gets S-P-A-M quarantined ends up getting stored.

I can find the text version of the email but not the attached file.
/var/log/copfilter/default/opt/p3scan/quarantine
Nothing in the sub folders from here.

Thanks in advance.
Regards.

Hi Moshari

you can find the attachment in the textfile. You can convert the file online here http://www.motobit.com/util/base64-decoder-encoder.asp.

as an example this is the beginn of an attachment in the text of the mail

Code: Select all
--b1_e1a2c3001542b00351aee7b9c2db0e7e
Content-Type: application/octet-stream; name="saved_letter_46c84db1f.zip"
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="saved_letter_46c84db1f.zip"
