Hi karesmakro

Yes i downloaded version 2.0.91beta3 from the site. Thank You that solved the problem and its blocking the categories I've selected. I was so use to url filter on previous ipcop that this was a bit of a stretch but definitely worth it

Thank You

My results:

IPCop 2.0.3 Installed as "FLASH" resulting in copfilter failing due to losing many of the files installed - they apparently did not get flushed to disk when ipcop rebooted.

Installation on 2.0.3 as "HardDisk" succeeded, but with mixed results. The major problem is that monit will not start, complaining that the Poll Time is not defined, and that it either needs the poll time to be configured, or the -d option on launch.

Has this been seen before?

Yes I did. I have it setup with the standard GMail settings (Auth, TLS, etc)...

Thanks!

Hm.

Please post output of:

Code: Select all

/user/local/bin/copfilter_restartmonit

Code: Select all

ls /var/log/copfilter/default/opt/monit/etc -l
Any hints in '/var/log/copfilter/default/opt/monit/var/log/monit.log'?

Do you have any other suggestions for what to look at? I still have not been successful in getting monit to start.

Hi ehidle,

Apparently installing IPCOP and copfilter failed .
It is often quicker to reinstall the faulty module than spending time on this type of problem.

Perhaps can you try to reinstall monit 5.4 ? viewtopic.php?f=9&t=766#p3890

Regards.

I will try that.

Is there any way to configure privoxy through the web interface when the IPCop machine it is running on is not the primary router/DNS on the network? The configuration link uses a named URL that I guess depends on the IPCop box resolving it to the local IP and html directory, but that's not happening for me since the IPCop box I have it on is not the primary DNS.
