Postby ShelbyGT500 » 21 Jun 2013 22:38

Hi all,

Here is 3rd party Virus scanner Mod, version 0.3.2

This mod adds for now a new free virus scanner, AVG, for Copfilter V2 2.0.91beta3 and higher (http and mail filtering) (as it was the case a few years ago for copfilter V1 ;) ).In addition to AVG, a new free virus scanner, AVAST, can be used for filtering mails

FEATURES :
AVG and AVAST settings are added in antivirus GUI and HAVP GUI :

AVG can be used with HAVP to filter http trafic:

To prevent issues, if you are using 3rd sigs or Privoxy mod, 3rdP Virus scanner mod must be installed AFTER theses mods, and uninstall before.

known issues:
- There is an error in the content of white list file. It will be fixed in next release of Copfilter
This is the blacklist file for HAVP should be replaced with This is the whitelist file for HAVP
- It is highly recommanded to test if AVAST is working fine: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=1086#p5324

Thanks to report any bug .

Regards.

Seems to be a bug during install; if C-ICAP is enabled and HAVP is disabled the installer will attempt to restart HAVP anyway and hang (probably since that script is trying to remount something that's in use). Killing the restart HAVP script from another terminal allows the install script to complete. Probably want to add a check to see if HAVP is Activated and if not skip restarting it; or the HAVP restart script can check to see if it is activated before attempting anything further.

After installation during boot there appears to be a typographical error in the script for AVG. I see this message:

Code: Select all
Starting avgd (recovering) OK.
avgscand/var/log/copfilter/default/opt/avg/etc/init.d/copfilter_avgscan: line 96: echo_done: command not found

If I edit the file and search for echo_ and replace the _ with a space the error goes away but I do not get a fancy green 'Done' status message.

Thanks!

Sorry, i can't reproduce this issue.
But I done some changes in the install script to prevent this. ;)

I send you a new version of the mod with the fixes by PM .
If you have some time, please, can you a have a try with it (only install the mod directly, not necessary to uninstall, or reinstall AVG) and report ?

Thanks again .
